Good timing, it looks like spring is in the forecast! You may note the tones reminiscent of white wine. These are thanks to primary hop from New Zealand, Nelson Sauvin. Known for their strong fruitiness of gooseberries, passion fruit, grapefruit and melon, these hops share all the same descriptors as the Sauvignon Blanc wine they are named after. This hazy IPA is a juicy, aromatic hop bomb designed to delight both seasoned hop heads and hazy aficionados. Crafted with a foundation of 2-Row, wheat, and oats, the malt bill creates a pillowy-soft mouthfeel with a subtle backbone that lets the hops shine. At 6.2% ABV, this IPA strikes the perfect balance between approachability and indulgence, with its bold, fruit-forward aromas and flavors complemented by a smooth, velvety finish. We made our Kolsch to be a well-balanced beer. Just the right amount of malt without overpowering, gentle bitterness while being light on hops and a delicate fruity aroma as a result of the fermentation. We use the noble German Hallertau Mittelfruh hops, known for their complex yet mild sweet, earthy and herbal notes. For the malt base we went with Best Pilsen and paired it with Best Vienna for a full flavour profile. This brew will quench your thirst!

A refreshing gluten free, vegan-friendly amber lager crafted from a grist of sorghum and rice and contains no artificial additives or preservatives. Floral aroma, full-flavoured plate and hoppy citrus notes complemented by a touch of malty sweetness.

From Averill Creek in North Cowichan, Vancouver Island: Beautiful fruity nose full of strawberry, cherry, and cotton candy. Tastes substantially different, dried strawberry with black pepper notes and next to no residual sugar. Mild acidity and assertive tannins complement a lighter body. The fruit for the Joue Rosé is estate-grown, using permaculture and dry-farming, on glacially deposited stone and gravel soils. Blend of Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Marechal Foch, Gamay, and Pinot Noir. No yeast, nutrients, enzymes, or sulphites added; unfiltered and un-fined. Skin contact produces rosé colour.

From Averill Creek in North Cowichan: Known for it’s sustainable farming practices, permaculture and dry-farming approaches. A blend of 55% Pinot Gris, 25% Gewürztraminer and 20% Chardonnay, the fruit was separated into three lots, and left on skins. A textured blend with hints of white flower and jasmine tea, a lush mid-palate, and a structured, firm finish. Wild fermentation was completed in old French oak. Nothing has been added, and the wine is un-fined and unfiltered.

South Rock Vineyard on the Golden Mile Bench in Oliver/Osoyoos: Pours a deep, brooding garnet, nearly opaque in the glass. Aromas of plum, dark cherry, tarragon, thyme and hints of white pepper and earthy minerals. Threaded with licorice, sagebrush, and a delicate floral lift, while a faint soy-like umami underpins the savory core and carries through to a black pepper spiced finish. Fermented with 100% whole berries, the palate is rich and smooth, shows medium-plus weight with smooth, sculpted tannins and lively, well-balanced acidity.
